About the company
What does TMA Global Private Limited do?
We run two lines of business. The first is importing metals and metal scrap into India, primarily aluminium — from ISRI-coded scrap grades through to alloy ingots — sourced from Asia, Africa, North America and Australia and supplied to Indian smelters, foundries and mills. The second is confidential high-value sourcing, where we locate materials or suppliers for companies that need it done without the requirement becoming public.
The business has traded since 2012, was incorporated as TMA Global Private Limited in 2022, and now handles over 15,000 tonnes a year. We're headquartered in Sector-62, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
How long have you been trading?
The trading business started in 2012. It was formally incorporated as a private limited company in 2022, which added corporate governance and a registered legal identity to a decade of existing trading relationships.
Where are you based?
Our registered office is at B-42, C-58/2, Sector-62, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India.
Trade & materials
Which aluminium grades do you trade?
On the scrap side we handle ISRI-coded grades including Taint/Tabor, Taboo, Tense, Troma, Trump, Talk, Tally, Talon, Tata, Tutu, Tread, Tough, Taldon, Talcred, Taldack, Teens, Telic, Tweak, Twitch, Throb and Zorba.
On the ingot side we trade the standard alloy designations — ADC12 and ADC10 (JIS H5302), A380 and A383 (ASTM B85), LM6, LM24 and LM25 (BS 1490), and EN AC-46000 (EN 1706).
The full breakdown with descriptions is on the Products & Trade page.
Do you trade metals other than aluminium?
Aluminium is our core commodity and where our expertise runs deepest, but we trade metals and metal scrap more broadly. If you have a requirement in another metal, ask — we'll tell you honestly whether we can serve it well or whether you'd be better placed elsewhere.
Which countries and regions do you source from?
We hold supplier relationships across Asia, Africa, North America and Australia. Material is imported into India and supplied onward to Indian smelters, foundries and mills.
That spread is deliberate. Scrap availability and pricing move constantly by origin market and season — being able to switch between four regions is what lets us hold supply steady when one of them tightens.
Which Indian ports do you use?
We clear consignments primarily through Mumbai and Kolkata. Which port a given shipment routes through depends on origin market and your delivery point.
How much material do you handle a year?
More than 15,000 tonnes annually. We operate our own warehouse facility with a 15-person material handling team, alongside a 6-person sourcing desk covering our four origin regions.
Do you have your own warehouse, or do you trade on paper?
We have our own warehouse and handling yard, and a 15-strong material handling team. Every consignment is inspected and segregated on arrival before it goes out to a customer.
This is worth asking any scrap supplier. A container declared as one ISRI grade can arrive carrying something else, and if nobody opens it between the port and your furnace, you find out at the worst possible moment.
What are your commercial and payment terms?
Pricing, Incoterms and payment structure are agreed directly with each counterparty rather than published, because they depend on grade, volume, route and the nature of the relationship. Terms are always confirmed in writing before any shipment moves — ask and you'll get a straight answer.
What happens if material arrives off-specification?
We verify material against the contracted ISRI grade or alloy standard before shipment, and where a consignment is off-spec we say so before it sails rather than after it lands. In a genuine grading dispute, the ISRI (now ReMA) Scrap Specifications Circular is the authoritative reference, and contracts reference it for that reason.
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the grade, the origin market and the shipping route — a full container load is the practical floor for most international movements, but the workable minimum varies. Tell us what you need and we'll tell you whether the economics work.
Confidential sourcing
What is confidential sourcing, and how is it different from normal procurement?
In a normal procurement exercise, the requirement circulates — through platforms, brokers, or an RFQ list. That's fine when the requirement isn't sensitive. It's damaging when it is.
Confidential sourcing means your requirement and identity never enter the open market. We work the brief through our own direct counterparty relationships without naming you, verify options before presenting them, and introduce you only when you decide the time is right.
Will you sign an NDA before I share details?
Yes, and we'd rather you asked for one than held back detail that affects whether we can help. Send us the NDA you use, or ask and we'll propose a simple mutual one.
Is my identity disclosed to potential suppliers?
Not unless you authorise it. We approach counterparties on our own account. You are introduced only when you decide to deal directly — usually once an option has been verified and you're ready to move.
How is the sourcing service charged?
Commercial arrangements depend on the scope, volume and complexity of the brief, and are agreed in writing before work begins. There is no charge for the initial conversation that establishes whether we can genuinely help.
Working with us
Are you a registered and licensed exporter?
Yes. TMA Global Private Limited is a private limited company registered in India with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, holds a valid Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, and is GST registered. Full detail is on the Compliance page.
How can I verify you as a counterparty?
Request our incorporation certificate, IEC certificate and GST registration certificate — we provide all three. You can then independently verify our corporate registration against the Ministry of Corporate Affairs register and our IEC against the DGFT database using the details we supply.
We don't publish registration numbers on the open web because they're routinely scraped and reused to impersonate legitimate trading companies. Ask us directly and you'll get the documents.
How quickly will I get a response?
Enquiries go directly to the desk handling that line of business — there's no call centre in between. For time-sensitive matters, WhatsApp on +91 93153 05160 is the fastest route. Otherwise use the contact form or email madhukarsingh@tmaglobal.in.
Can you handle shipping and logistics, or do I arrange that?
Either. We routinely coordinate documentation, customs clearance and shipping through to the destination port. If you prefer to nominate your own freight forwarder or handle logistics in-house, that works too — the arrangement is agreed as part of the commercial terms.
Question not answered here? Ask us directly — send an enquiry, email madhukarsingh@tmaglobal.in, or message +91 93153 05160 on WhatsApp.
Still have questions?
Ask directly. You'll get an answer from the person who actually handles the trade.
